Thanks Lisa...   :)

Probably a few more days yet Roy...  we're playing it by ear, so to speak, and will let the cats themselves be the guide insomuch as I think it will be relatively clear when they're ready to venture outside again...  :)

Lawn is a jungle again...!!!  Trouble is, a couple of weeks ago I ruptured my left calf muscle badly and somehow during the incident I have also damaged my right front thigh muscle - probably when shifting my body weight so quickly on impact when I did the left calf muscle...  So, needless to say, I'm actually like an old cripple at the moment and not very mobile...  Timing stinks, as you can imagine...!!!  Having said that, the grass seems to have slowed down its growth significantly at the moment and so while it will still be a bit of a job to do, won't be too bad...  :)

How long do you plan to keep the cats in for, is it a couple of weeks ?

How is the garden looking, have you managed to keep the grass down ?

This is excellent news, and hopefully Reg is entirely back to his normal self in a couple of days.

Cat panic update, lol...

One of the two young 'uns (called Ron) is more or less back to himself and entirely calmer now, perhaps just behaving cautiously and a little bit nervously...  So, we're no longer worried about him but his brother Reg (they were named after the notorious Kray twins) is still spending most of his time hidden away - however, he has ventured out and appeared relatively relaxed although he's gone back into hiding at the moment...  I suspect he'll be fine within another day or two...

The two older cats, one being the mother of the two younger boys, are looking more and more relaxed by the hour and are swiftly becoming less clingy and even look like they're starting to enjoy the adventure now...!!!  Little sods, lol...!!!

Have they not eaten or drunk then?
If you're still unsure if they have eaten or drunk anything, it's probably worth shutting them in a single room then - perhaps your bedroom, with food, water, and litter tray and see if any of it gets eaten/drunk.

Doesn't half pull at your heart strings when they cry though, eh...  Fortunately, they have all calmed down from that initial stage now at least...  Not sure how the last one in hiding will be though once he does come back out...  Angie (Mrs Cookie) worries that the young ones could get dehydrated if they stay hidden, or in that scared to adventure far state, for too long...  There are plenty of supplies down for them, and cat litter etc...

I'm confident they'll be fine eventually though, it's just a worry seeing them so freaked out...
